About Marcel van den Burg


Marcel van den Burg (August 1958) is active as business consultant, coach, entrepeneur and martial arts teacher. Within consultancy his main focus is on strategic issues regarding Organizational Development, Leadership and Human Resources Management.

As a psychologist Marcel is interested in the individual as a starting point for a succesfull business strategy, for a functional organizational policy and design and for a greater understanding of group behavior. He has a keen eye for both the rational intentions and irrational behavior of individuals and for both the visible dynamics and the invisible under currents of organizations. He strongly believes in the strength of following passion. He likes to contribute to organizing innovation, creativity, controlled chaos, motivation and engagement. His individual coaching always focusses on both personal and professional life. He is founder and ceo of a Fair Trade Company. And as a 4th dan karate specialist he gives trainings al over the world. As consultant he has worked, among others, for the Baak, ABN AMRO, Achmea, AkzoNobel, Ahold, Corus, DAF, DSM, G4S, Heineken, KLM, Océ, Rabobank, Randstad and TNO.
