Ashraf Ramzy - CEO / Strategy Director
Narrativity® was founded in 2001 by Ashraf Ramzy, an international authority in the field of Corporate Story. He is specialized in the strategic issues of Organizational Identity and its 5 aspects: culture, brand, positioning, image and reputation.
As a consultant, teacher, coach and trusted advisor he offers world class thought leadership and consulting services to ambitious organizations and leadership. His vision is as clear as it is simple: “all of us are responsible for our actions and the consequences of our choices. We have the right and the duty to define our identity, determine our purpose and to create our future”.
With an academic background in Narratology and a career in marketing Ramzy has over 25 years of experience and excellence in the field of organizational and brand communication strategy. Prior to launching Narrativity he has worked at renowned agencies such as BBDO, TBWA and Publicis. Among his clients were and are: Nissan, Canon, Frito-Lay, the Netherlands Heart Foundation, ABN AMRO, KLM, Aer Lingus, Carglass, Havensteder, The Amsterdam Maritime Museum, SNV Netherland Development Organization and several Dutch Ministries (Urban Planning; Traffic & Transport; Health).
Ashraf has been featured in major publications, television and radio interviews, has presented at the Smithsonian and is a guest lecturer at the Rotterdam School of Management of the Erasmus University in the Netherlands. Ramzy is a contributing author to “Wake me up when the data is over. How organizations use storytelling to drive results” (Jossey Bass 2006) en “Branding. State of the art-perspectives of ”Dutch Professionals” (Kluwer 2008). His book, titled “The Power of Story”. Lead from the Core, Power your Culture, Charge your Brand.” is expected April 2012.

Mrs. Geertje Delport – Hoekstra (1978) studied Management and Organization at the University of Groningen. After graduating she worked for an international real estate investment corporation, in charge of Marketing, Communication and Project Management. In 2006 she launched her own business as a business consultant with a focus on written business communications. She specialized in project management, business reporting, writing and editing. Since 2006 she supported Narrativity on various cases. Amongst those were Rabobank Alkmaar, de Nederlandse Hartstichting, Carglass, the Dutch Maritime Museum and Havensteder.
Her first school report states: “Geertje knows very well how to express her thoughts into words”. She was 6 years old then and since then she has honed her craft, developed her skills and added a lot of experience.
Geertje: “I it is my passion to create order in chaos. I do this in business reports, projects and organizations.”
